September was the last M & G and there were only a few folks that showed up. There just doesn't seem to be very much interest in TORC anymore.

I would be more interested in someplace like TBP than the Hobbit because I'm on a budget these days, especially with Christmas around the corner...

Time and money are a tight around this time of year. I'm interested, but won't know till a date is set.

We have a set date for M&Gs, the regularly scheduled one should have been last Friday. viewtopic.php?f=32&t=15259 Do ya'll want to do one before the third Friday of Dec (Dec 18).

I would love for anyone to start getting involved to keep the club alive and setup M&Gs or anything else. That's what we need is more member involvement!

In recognition of TORC's monthly date for a M&G, I am planning on being somewhere outdoors Friday evening on December 18. I may take the J-20 out somewhere (note that it is not street-legal), or may ride 4-wheelers (which is not registered either), but I would be interested in doing something as a group if there is a suggestion....


NOTE: Even though Plank Road has been closed down by way of the county road, Big Red and I have talked with the owner recently and he has offered his place to us for a private mudbog if there is interest.

I knew they were having problems with the county about the road conditions, but didn't now they had closed. So what happeded, did the county block access to the hole from the road?

I hope to have the J10 put back together by then so I will be ready to ride! Maybe we could all meet at the hobbit and go somewhere from there, if that is close to where we will be riding. Somebody make some plans and let me know cause I will be busy getting things ready.

Access from the road is still the same, but the county did speak with them about how people parking along the road were spinning tires and making holes in the road when it rained. The owner mainly had to close the place down from a large amount of underage drinking and trespassing after hours. There is a big liability concern.

As much as I like the owners, I'm suprised they haven't had more problems than they have already.
