89 Bronco Parts
« on: December 30, 2011, 12:14:57 AM »

I am looking at an 89 fullsize bronco to pull a couple of things off of. Wanting to know if there is any interest in the rest of the truck. Comes with a 351windsor with a carb intake, auto tranny and case. Body is in good shape with no rust but the interior is kinda shot. 3 inch body lift. Would make a good mud toy or plenty of parts for someone.

Not sure which trans came in those years. Motor has been pulled with the thought of putting in a another project but everything can go with the truck.

I did some looking around online and they say the 351 shoulda come with the C6. I would be happy to verify if someone can tell me what to look for to differentiate the trannies.

I don't like posting from my phone or I would have put this up sooner.

What kind of rear end and how much?

Now I remember why I don't like to work on Fords!

That is exactly the reason I will stick with Chevy and Toyota's.

Ford just kept changing stuff for no reason. Parts interchangeability is a PITA on a Ford.

Thanks for posting that link Mechanologist. I will try and identify it and let you guys know.

I will have to get you some pics Travis. The only thing I was gonna pull off it were the tires and wheels. The rest of the truck is up for grabs. It does come with a good title and the body is in good shape. Didn't notice any rust or major dents. Couple of dings you know.

I went ahead and paid for the Bronco now I just gotta get up there to pick it up.

Sorry for the delay in finding out which tranny it has but the motor has been rebuilt and has less than 1000 miles on it per the previous owner who I know and would trust not to BS me on such a thing.
