Sorry Andrew but I think I will pass on the welder. I am more in the market for a 220 machine and prefer something in the Lincoln or Miller variety.

On that grinder, you should have 4 small torx bit screws holding the plate down where the "head" of the grinder is, I took those out and the whole gear drive/head piece came out where I could clamp the shaft in my vise and was able to use a screwdriver and a hammer and knock the wheel loose where I could change out the disc again.
